AccountabiliBuddy is a habit and goal accountability iOS app for people who follow through better when someone's watching. Pair with an accountability partner, set goals, and stay honest. No streak-shaming or manipulative gamification, just a lightweight social layer that makes follow-through frictionless.
Shipping a social layer without the social bloat.
Most habit apps fail the same way: they gamify you into resenting them. AccountabiliBuddy started from the opposite constraint: the only mechanic that reliably works is another human knowing whether you showed up. Everything in the product was subtracted until that mechanic stood alone: pairing, goals, honest check-ins, and notifications that fire only when they earn their interruption.
The app was built AI-native end to end. Agentic coding sessions handled the scaffolding, the pairing flow, and the notification logic, while design passes stayed focused on keeping every screen legible in under two seconds. It shipped to the App Store as a complete v1, not an MVP with promises.
